Health Tip,
There has been a lot of info about health lately (thank you Jo for your input) so I thought I'd add a bit about how we work so the info about Natural Nutrition makes sense.
We are amazing creatures, our body has the ability to replace/renew/replicate every cell in our bodies including our bones, they just take a bit longer. Examples - skin - a 30 day cycle; liver 8 wks; stomach lining 5 wks; bones 7 year cycle (very complex).
So it is a process of cells dying off, yes dying, over a period of time, and in the meantime it is rebuilding another exact copy to replace it. This is the tricky part. If the cell is failing (due to poor nutrition/illness) it is copied in that state, which ultimately leads to a possibility of disease or a speeding up of what is termed,'the ageing process'.
Food is a means of transporting nutrients, vitamins, minerals and proteins, to where the body needs it, to assist in this rebuilding. To our detriment modern grown foods JUST DON"T CUT IT. We have outsmarted ourselves again! Science has helped remove the goodness by allowing us to be able to produce more product, thus the importance of Organic foods
To ensure the best possible feed for your body and mind you should include: 60 minerals; 16 vitamins; 12 amino acids (the bodies form of protein); 3 Essential Fatty Acids (EFA's) (omegas 3, 6 & 9); quality water and oxygen.
